Elvis performed at the Armory, Albuquerque, New Mexico, at 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. where he was greeted with a scream from the audience that almost split the roof. Afterwards, in the dressing room, Elvis declared: "It Makes me want to cry. How does all this happen to me?" He then showed off his horseshoe diamond ring (!) and boasted that he owned 40 suits and 27 pair of shoes.

There was an open house at Elvis' barracks, and it was Elvis' job to drive visitors around the camp in a truck.

Elvis performed at the Fair Grounds Coliseum, Indianapolis, Indiana.

Elvis returned to Memphis, where he would remain until the start of his May tour. He attended the movies almost every night and played racquetball with Dr. Nick a lot.
