Soundtrack recording for G.I. Blues was moved to the RCA studio at 6363 Sunset Boulevard because of a new agreement between RCA and the musicians union. Elvis arrived at the studio at 9:00 a.m. wearing his full dress uniform from the film and worked until 8:00 p.m.
