For the second time Elvis visited the employment office and stated that he had reevaluated his professional ambitions and wanted to operate "big lathes".

In the evening Elvis flew to Las Vegas for a short trip at the New Frontier Hotel. This was Elvis' first trip to this show mecca and he was entranced.

Paramount Pictures signed Elvis Presley to a three-movie contract just a few days after his first screen test.

Elvis performed at the Sports Arena, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at 2:30 and 8:00 p.m. Some students threw eggs at Elvis during the evening show and even hit the guitar, which was laid down on the stage.

Elvis returned to Los Angeles.

Elvis and Priscilla went to Las Vegas. There they went to the Flamingo, to see Tom Jones' midnight show.

Elvis bought a 6 door 1969 Mercedes limo.

Elvis performed at the Olympia Stadium, Detroit, Michigan.
