Today, on 13 December in Elvis History

Elvis met Hal Kanter, screenwriter and director of his upcoming film. Freddy Bienstock, form Hill and Range, was also in town to help Elvis choose the songs for the film.

Elvis produced 3 masters at the Stax Studios, including Loving Arms.

Elvis returned to Memphis for a 2 week rest before hitting the road again on a brief 5 day tour.
