Elvis performed at the Louisiana Hayride, Municipal Auditorium, Shreveport. The crowd didn't want him to leave the stage. Elvis "did" 6 songs including Sixteen Tons, Only You and Tutti Frutti.

Elvis was told by the Colonel that his new single One Night had already sold 1,250,000.

Elvis presented a check for $55,000 for 58 Memphis charities to the mayor in his office.

Elvis made his annual donation of $50,000 to a variety of Memphis charities.

Elvis flew to Memphis where he would stay most of the time until January 9, 1971.

Elvis flew back home to Memphis in the Lisa Marie.
