Elvis performed at the Junior College Auditorium, Booneville, Mississippi. Elvis visited a local radio station WBIP for an interview with DJ Lynn McDowell to support airplay of his records.

Elvis performed at the City Auditorium, Beaumont, Texas at 7:00 and 9:00 p.m.

Vernon shipped Elvis his Cadillac Eldorado Seville by train. Although Elvis continued to put long hours on the soundstage, this day from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Elvis complained often about this big unfriendly space.

Elvis had the area behind Graceland cleared and bulldozed to create a riding ring, while work continued on the barn.
