Dixie left for a vacation in Florida with her family. Later that day after supper, Scotty Moore tried to reach Elvis by phone. Although Elvis was at the movies, his mother fetched him and when Elvis called back, Scotty explained that he has gotten Elvis name from Sam Philips and that he was wondering if Elvis would be interested in an audition.
