Elvis performed at the American Legion Hall, Breckenridge, Texas.

Elvis performed at the Rodeo Grounds, Tucson, Arizona.

After two years of refusal, Elvis went recording again in Nashville. He recorded 5 up tempo songs between 7:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. Elvis was very enthusiastic about the musicians.

Elvis reported to Radio Recorders at 7:00 p.m. to begin with the soundtrack recordings for Girl Happy. He worked until 3:00 a.m.

Although Elvis was back in Nashville to record again, he stayed in his hotel with a bad cold and sent Red West to take his place.

With Elvis behind the wheel of the Greyhound, the entourage left for California. This time the wives were included.

Elvis continued with the rehearsals at Binder-Howe Productions office throughout the week and the weekend.

Elvis, Charlie, Gee Gee and Lamar flew from Memphis to Las Vegas to view the construction of the new showroom. Elvis continued on to Los Angeles for wardrobe fittings for opening night in Vegas.

Back in the studio for a final recording Elvis performed "My Way" and "I'll Be home On Christmas Day", but at 4:30 Elvis ran out of the studio in frustration due to the inattention of the backup singers.

Elvis performed at Madison Square Garden, New York at 2:30 and 8:30 p.m. where RCA recorded both shows.
