Elvis performed at the Louisiana Hayride, Shreveport.

Elvis flew home to Memphis for the funeral of his cousin Lee Edward Smith, who was drowned. Outside his Audubon Drive house was June Juanico, the girl Elvis met a year ago. Elvis would spend much time with June the rest of the week.
-
1962
-
Elvis finished looping for the film Girls! Girls! Girls!
-
1964
-
Soundtrack recording for Girl Happy continued from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Elvis was unhappy with the material and with his own performance and left the sessions after 34 exhausting takes of Do Not Disturb.
-
1966
-
Elvis remained at the hotel, still refusing to go to the studio. Instead he listened to the recordings of Red West, which were very good.
-
1968
-
Elvis met with costume designer Bill Belew to discuss his ideas for the show, readily accepting Belew's suggestions of high 'Napoleonic' collars and a black leather suit.
-
1972
-
Again Elvis performed at Madison Square Garden, New York at 2:30 p.m. This show was added when tickets to the first three original shows were sold out almost immediately.
