Elvis performed at the City Auditorium, Beaumont, Texas, at 7:00 and 9:00 p.m.

Elvis reported to the studio at 10:00 a.m. for looping.

Elvis signed an agreement with Stylemaster Mobile Homes for use of a three-bedroom trailer home in exchange for photographs of himself and his family in the unit. Over the weekend, Gladys, Vernon, Minnie and Lamar Fike moved into the unit, located near Fort Hood.

From 7:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. Elvis recorded the soundtrack for Speedway at the MGM studio in Culver City. At the end of the session Elvis cut two new versions of Suppose with Charlie Hodge on piano.

Elvis had wardrobe fittings at his home and he reported to Studio One at Western Recorders at 8:00 p.m. for prerecording.
