Today, on 27 June in Elvis History

Elvis performed at the Airman's Club, Keesler Air Force Base, outside Biloxi. A local girl, June Juanico attended the show. Elvis picked June out of the crowd and spent the rest of the evening with her.

In order to be able to stay in Paris as long as possible, Elvis hired a limousine to get him back to the barracks.
