Elvis performed at the Reo Palm Isle, Longview, Texas.

Elvis performed at the Louisiana Hayride, Municipal Auditorium, Shreveport. This was Elvis' last appearance on a regularly scheduled Hayride show.

Elvis performed at the Olympia Stadium, Detroit, Michigan, at 2:00 and 8:00 p.m.

Filming of the MGM documentary continued, with Elvis and the musicians working through the tour repertoire. The night ended with Elvis, Charlie Hodge, James Burton and J.D. Sumner gathering around the piano singing gospels.

Elvis planned to perform at Louisiana State University Assembly Center, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, but was unable to go on and the next 3 shows were canceled as well.
