Elvis performed at the Swing Auditorium, San Bernardino, California.

The Presley family, still living at 370 Washington Street, was about to move to another rooming house on Polar Avenue.

Elvis performed at the Shrine Auditorium, New Bern, North Carolina at 7:00 and 9:00 p.m.

Elvis performed at the Mary B. Sawyer Auditorium, LaCrosse, Wisconsin at 7:00 and 9:30 p.m.

Elvis swallowed a cap from one of his teeth, while working on the dance sequence in Jailhouse Rock.

Elvis finished his work on Roustabout with some more publicity stills. Afterwards there was a brief recording session at Radio Recorders to overdub the new title song.

Elvis returned to Radio Recorders for overdubs from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m.

Elvis had a meeting with Bob Finkel about his upcoming Christmas special and Elvis declared that he wanted the special to be something completely different from everything else he had done. He wanted everyone to know what he really could do.
