Today, on 7 May in Elvis History

Back home in Memphis Elvis spent most of the next 2 weeks upstairs at Graceland.

Elvis performed at the Peabody Auditorium, Daytona Beach, Florida.

Elvis watched some movies at the Crosstown.

After returning to Los Angeles Elvis flew to Las Vegas with Joe Esposito, Charlie Hodge, James Caughley, Red West and Mike Keaton.

Elvis flew to Los Angeles, where he would leave the next day for a vacation with Vernon and Dee and some of the guys on Hawaii.
